This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the crew's negotiations with the Earth, which are broadcast by NASA.

It is noted that the cosmonauts will cover the "leaking" module compartment with packages.

“It will be necessary to cover all the free space in the PrK (the intermediate chamber of the Zvezda module) with plastic bags,” a specialist from the Moscow Region Mission Control Center told Russian cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Wagner.

It is expected that the crew will have to tape them around the perimeter so that there is a bubble in the bag.

This is supposed to help identify the leak.

On September 29, it became known that the cosmonauts were able to establish that the place of the air leak on the ISS is in the Russian Zvezda module.

NASA later noted that the rate of air leakage on the ISS does not pose a threat to the crew.
