Everything has been planned to allow the ceremony to take place in the best conditions and to cope with the expected crowds.

This Wednesday, the funeral of Victorine, this 18-year-old girl found dead in Villefontaine, will take place at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church in Bourgoin-Jallieu (Isère).

In accordance with the wishes of his family, everyone will be able to attend this last tribute.

In the church, where the gauge is lowered to 300 people due to the health crisis, priority will of course be given to Victorine's relatives.

Only the family will go to the cemetery

But to allow as many people as possible to follow the ceremony, a giant screen will be installed on Place Carnot, in front of the church, indicates the town hall of Bourgoin.

1,600 people can be accommodated there.

The family will then go to the cemetery, in privacy.

Those who wish to place flowers on the tomb of the young girl can go there after the funeral is over.

To ensure security during this tribute, police and security agents will be mobilized on Wednesday.

Traffic will be prohibited in the streets near the church and parking will be prohibited on Place Carnot on Tuesday evening, under penalty of impoundment.

Last Sunday, a white march organized in Villefontaine in memory of the student brought together more than 5,000 people.
