According to the website of the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, at 0-24 o'clock on October 5, 5 new imported confirmed cases in Guangdong Province and 4 cases were reported in Guangzhou, from the United Kingdom, the UAE, the Philippines and Tanzania; Foshan reported 1 case, from Argentina.
There were 13 newly imported asymptomatic infections from abroad, 9 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 2 cases were from the UAE, and the remaining 7 cases were from Peru, Tanzania, South Sudan, Zambia, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Kenya; 4 cases were reported in Foshan, 2 cases were from In Argentina, the remaining 2 cases were from Norway and the Philippines.
All of the above were found at the port of entry or isolation point, and were quarantined for observation after entry.
2 new cases were discharged.
As of 24:00 on October 5, Guangdong Province has reported a total of 1,846 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia (450 imported cases).
There are currently 30 cases in hospital.
