On the 5th, Alpha Asset Management announced on September 30 that it had donated 70% (about 1.4 million shares) of the 100% stake held by Chairman Choe Gon to his son, Choi Jun-hyuk, CEO of Alpha Asset Management.

As a result, CEO Joon-hyuk Choi became the largest shareholder of Alpha Asset Management after his father.



Born in 1981, CEO Joon-hyuk Choi graduated from Korea University and the University of Wisconsin, and worked as the head of derivatives division at the Seoul branch of Bank of America (BOA), a global investment bank. I was appointed as a director.



Alpha Asset Management is a comprehensive asset management company established in July 2002 by Chairman Gon Choi, who served as Chairman of Kukje Steel, a steel pipe manufacturer, and has strengths in alternative investments such as real estate.

The business grew after CEO Joon-hyuk Choi participated in the management in earnest last year, and it is reported that the amount of assets under management (AUM), which was only 144.9 billion won at the end of last year, rose to 474.1 billion won at the end of last month.



Representative Choi Jun-hyuk married actor Jeon Ji-hyun in 2012, and has two sons.
