"Viu", the video-on-demand service, has announced its latest original Arabic productions, the fantasy suspense series "Wadi El-Jin".

The series is currently being produced, and it is scheduled to start showing on the platform in the coming months.

This fictional series depicts the tale of four university students who explore the caves of the mysterious Valley of the Jin, and find themselves stranded in a hidden world dominated by evil magic powers.

The new series is directed by Hossam El Gohary and written by Mohamed Hesham Obayya, who previously wrote the series "Zodiac" (2019) produced by "View", along with Menna Ikram and Omar Khaled.

A group of Arab talents from Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Syria participate in the work, whose production is carried out by i-Products, and it is starring Youssef Othman and Leila Ahmed Zahir, along with Khaled Kamal, Reham Saeed, Mohsen Mansour, and Ruaa Shenouha.
