As the fighting rages on in the Nagorno-Karabakh region between Armenian and Azeri armies, Kim Kardashian, of Armenian origin, denounced the situation.

The star, who is increasingly involved in social and political issues, posted on her Twitter account a video of a young woman explaining the situation, from the Armenian perspective.

Nagorno-Karabakh is a separatist region of Azerbaijan populated by Armenians, which the two countries have been fighting for for thirty years.

Between 1988 and 1994, the war left 30,000 dead there.

At the end of this conflict, Nagorno-Karabakh came under Armenian supervision with an independent, unrecognized status.

New deadly clashes took place in 2016, during the so-called "four days" war.

Azerbaijan still considers having been despoiled of its territory and Armenia believes that it has recovered what belongs to it.

The conflict resumed last month.
