Launching the largest water fountain in the world in Dubai
The Pointe, Dubai's premier lifestyle and dining destination, run by Nakheel Malls, is preparing to launch the largest water fountain in the world.
The Palm Fountain, the latest tourist attraction in The Palm Jumeirah, is seeking to win the "Guinness World Records" title on October 22 during its launch ceremony.
The water penetrating pump will be launched at a height of 105 meters over an area of 14,000 square feet, shining with light, with more than 3,000 LED lights.
This remarkable event in an attempt to attain the title of "Guinness World Records, the only multi-colored fountain in Dubai," is a clear indication of the emirate's return to its former state and its continuing to fly high in order to achieve its grand ambitions.

The "Palm Fountain" will present 20 detailed performances with 5 different shows that start daily at sunset and continue until midnight "from 7 pm to 12 am at midnight" while water columns flutter to the rhythm of a group of folk songs including Khaleeji and pop. Each show will last for 3 minutes and will be performed every 30 minutes.
