A young man of 20 was found dead Saturday evening in Orly (Val-de-Marne) with "multiple wounds of various kinds" on the body and on the head, we learned this Sunday from the Créteil prosecutor's office .

The police were alerted shortly before 7:00 p.m. by witnesses who saw a man stabbed in the Pierre-au-Prêtre neighborhood in Orly, according to the same source.

Once there, the emergency services were unable to resuscitate the victim who was declared dead at 7:30 p.m.

No arrest for the moment

The young man was unknown to the police and lived not far from the scene.

An autopsy is due on Monday to determine precisely what caused his death.

The judicial police of Créteil was immediately seized and recovered on the spot many objects which could have been used "weapons by destination", specified the prosecution.

No arrest has yet taken place and the circumstances of the facts remain to be clarified, but witnesses mentioned to investigators the existence of a rivalry between young people from Orly and the neighboring town of Villeneuve-le-Roi which could be at the origin of the drama.

The victim was allegedly attacked alone "by a number of people" according to the first elements of the investigation, said a source close to the case.
