Branféré Park

“The teams and the animals are doing well”.

It is with these little words that the Branféré zoo reassured its regulars.

The animal park installed in Guerno, near Vannes (Morbihan) suffered significant damage during the passage of the storm Alex which hit Brittany during the night from Thursday to Friday.

Consequence: the park must close "for an indefinite period".

In a message posted on its Facebook page, the park was reassuring about the extent of the damage.

“After an inventory this morning, it was only botany that was affected.

Lots of weakened trees and fallen branches ”.

The Branféré zoo should be closed "for several days" in order "to secure the site before it reopens to the public".
