Has urgently discussed at the General Assembly on the 2nd, clarified the reason why they were not appointed, and decided to put together a request for the appointment of six people again.

The Science Council of Japan is an organization that represents Japanese scientists who make policy proposals independently of the government, and as a new member who will take office on the 1st, the Science Council has submitted a list recommending 105 candidates. However, Prime Minister Suga did not appoint six of them.



There have been no cases where the nominee was not appointed since the current system was established in 2004, and the Science Council of Japan urgently discussed this matter at the general meeting held on the 2nd.



He decided to clarify the reason why he was not appointed and to put together a request for the appointment of six people again.
