From 2 am to 8 am on October 2, the virgin forest area in the northern Greater Khingan Mountains of Inner Mongolia ushered in the first snowfall this winter, with a thickness of 5 to 6 cm.

Looking around, the mountains are silvery white.

Early in the morning, the management and protection staff of the Bao Gelin Tower Management and Protection Station, located in the forest hinterland of the virgin forest area in the northern Greater Xing'an Mountains, Inner Mongolia, began to clear the snow around the management and protection station.

It is understood that with the snowfall, the Baogelin Tower Management and Protection Station ushered in strong winds to cool down. At 9 o'clock in the morning, the wind reached 5-6 levels, and the outdoor temperature dropped to minus 6 degrees Celsius.

Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Group officially stated that this snowfall is very beneficial to forest fire prevention in autumn.
