The health and territorial federations of the CFDT announced Thursday that they had filed a strike notice for October 13 in the social and medico-social sector, in order to obtain the opening of wage negotiations provided for by the “Ségur de la santé”. ".

The agreement signed in July for hospital staff (excluding doctors), including in particular a general increase of 183 euros net, indeed provides for "specific work (...) on the particular situation of agents and employees of social establishments and medical services. -social ”.

Despite "several letters to the ministry" during the summer, "we have no answer" on this subject, said Eve Rescanières, secretary general of CFDT-Santé, at a press conference.

The call for the strike of October 13 is part of a "month of action", via social networks, letters sent to elected officials or a petition addressed to the Prime Minister, she said. .

150,000 people affected

Childhood, disability, home help… Some 30,000 agents are involved in the public hospital service, at an estimated cost of 720 million euros per year, as well as 120,000 other staff in the area.

"It is a little because of us that it gets stuck," said Catherine Blanc, number one of the CFDT-Interco, who is waiting "for the timetable for negotiations to be quickly decided".

This mobilization does not, however, call into question the position of the CFDT vis-à-vis the "Ségur de la santé": "We will not renounce our signature", but this "is not a balance of any account" , said Eve Rescanières.

The transposition of the wage agreement in private health establishments is also a problem.

"The employers' proposals are not up to par," she said, deploring their "lack of loyalty" and their "haste", with texts submitted for signature next week "without the possibility of amendment" .
