A special exhibition is being held at an art museum in Nagoya, where people who have experienced abuse from their parents express their feelings and feelings at that time as art works.

At the special exhibition held at the Aichi Arts Center, about 30 works, in which the parties who survived the abuse by their parents expressed their experiences as art such as paintings and photographs, are exhibited.



Of these, "KT"'s work depicts a bright red heart that looks like a heart with a kitchen knife stuck in it, expressing the heart that was hurt by the violence and abuse of parents.

In addition, "Tsuki"'s work depicts the author who could not accept a new life crying in isolation while other siblings were having fun after his mother's remarriage.



Each work is accompanied by the author's own message, and in the work that depicts how the mind and body were damaged by abuse in the past, "With the help of others, a gentle wave It's soothing, "says his current feelings.

Midori Asairo, who runs the special exhibition, said, "This art exhibition aims to take a step forward by making and applying for works. I was smoldering at home, but I was wondering if I should start something. I'm grateful for that, and I want the viewers to feel that abuse is close at hand. "



This special exhibition is being held at the Aichi Arts Center until the 4th of this month.
