[Explanation] On the evening of September 30, more than a dozen literary and art workers from the Shanghai Mass Art Museum presented a series of brass ensemble music in front of more than 100 primary school students in Yecheng County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang accompanied by multimedia screens.

From red classics to film music appreciation, from world-famous music to Chinese national classic music, the interweaving of music and multimedia pictures made these children at the foot of Karakorum Mountain hear different music for the first time and listened to it for the first time. To the sounds of different brass instruments, I learned the names of long, short, and round brass instruments for the first time.

  [Explanation] During the interval between performances, in order for the pupils to understand the structure and sound of each brass instrument, during the guided tour, the orchestra conductor introduced the characteristics of each instrument to the pupils.

  It is understood that this time Shanghai Qunwen volunteers will go to 4 counties of Bachu, Shache, Zepu and Yecheng in Kashgar for 9 cultural exchange tours.

Zhang Jie, deputy curator of the Shanghai Mass Art Museum, introduced that the 2019 tour will mainly focus on the combination of national instruments. This time it is a brass and percussion ensemble, which is intended to convey the beauty of brass instruments and allow frontier students to experience different brass The beauty after the fusion of musical instruments.

Li Yamin, the deputy county magistrate in charge of local culture, education and health, told reporters that due to the remoteness, teachers in music education are scarce, which is also a dilemma that the government is trying to solve.
