The images are impressive.
In Saint-Martin-Vésubie (Alpes-Maritimes), a small road bridge spanning the river, a tributary of the Var river, collapsed this Friday afternoon.
In the images, we see several orange flashes, probably caused by electric cables cut during the collapse of the bridge.

La Vésubie experienced a brutal flood this Friday, caused by torrential rains from storm Alex, from midday.
Its level went from normal, 0.55 meters, to more than 8 meters in just 4 hours, according to data from Vigicrues.
At 6 p.m., its level had dropped 6.68 meters, which remains very high.
A wanted person
The firefighters had to intervene in this town of Saint-Martin-Vésubie to "bring to safety" three people.
They are still looking for a woman who may have been swept away by Vésubie around 3 p.m.
The Alpes-Maritimes department is placed in “red” vigilance for the risks of “flood” and “rain and flood”, and in “orange” vigilance for thunderstorms and flood waves.
The prefect launched the ORSEC plan and asked for the closure of the A8 motorway and four major shopping centers in particular.
