Sendai Nuclear Power Plant restarted Unit 1 was one month ahead of the original plan in November at 4:48 on October 2.

The Kawauchi Nuclear Power Station in Kagoshima Prefecture has stopped operation because the facilities such as anti-terrorism facilities that are obliged to be installed have not been completed by the deadline, but Kyushu Electric Power said that the construction work is proceeding earlier than planned and is operating. The company announced that it will resume operations one month ahead of schedule, with Unit 1 in November and Unit 2 in December.

Kyushu Electric Power's Kawauchi Nuclear Power Plant Units 1 and 2 were not completed in time for the facility to protect the reactor in the event of an emergency such as terrorism or aircraft collision, which is required to be installed under the new regulatory standards. In March and Unit 2, the operation was stopped in May.

As a result of improving work efficiency at Kyushu Electric Power, it is said that construction work is proceeding earlier than planned, so the time to resume operation has been advanced by about one month from the original plan, and Unit 1 will be in late November, Unit 2 Announced that it will be in late December.

Kyushu Electric Power says, "We will give top priority to ensuring safety, carefully carry out inspections and work, and make every possible effort for safe and stable operation in the future."
