According to the fire department, when the fire brigade arrived, there was no odor, the cause was unknown, and no one felt sick.

At around 6:20 pm on the 1st, there was a report in Naka Ward, Yokohama City that "it smells like burning rubber", and during the 30 minutes until around 7:00 pm, Naka Ward and Konan Ward, In Totsuka Ward and other areas, there were a series of reports complaining of offensive odors.



In addition, after 7:00 pm, the fire department in Yokosuka City reported that it smelled like gas in the city, and according to the fire department, there were a total of 10 such reports in Yokohama City and Yokosuka City by 8:00 pm. It means that it was sent too much.



In each case, when the fire brigade arrived at the scene, the smell could not be confirmed and the cause was unknown, so no one was transported because they felt sick.



In Kanagawa Prefecture, there have been a series of reports of offensive odors in Yokosuka City and Miura City, which have occurred four times since June, but the cause is unknown and the prefecture is investigating the cause.
