Sports halls and fitness had lost Wednesday in Bordeaux and Nice.

This time they won a victory this Thursday morning in Rennes.

The administrative court of the city has indeed just suspended the prefectural decree imposing the closure of sports halls for a period of fifteen days in the Breton capital.

The measure had been decided at the national level for all the metropolises classified in enhanced alert zones in order to fight against the spread of the coronavirus.

During the hearing which was held on Wednesday morning in Rennes, Me Emilie Marie, lawyer for three managers of sports halls, accused the public authorities of "to impose on sports halls a disproportionate precautionary principle".

“I applied the health instructions to the letter and no case was detected in my wards.

State compensation is not up to what I'm going to lose, ”said Frédérique Bernard, franchise manager of several Keep Cool rooms.

"We are starting to have reports in sports halls that are arriving and that we did not have before," replied Anne-Briac Bili, chief of staff of the Regional Health Agency in Brittany.
