The government is extending partial unemployment to 100% until the end of the year for all protected sectors, and not only the hotel and catering sector, announced the Minister of Labor Elisabeth Borne on Wednesday.

These are the 86 sectors designated by the government which already benefited from 100% support for partial unemployment until October.

"We took the decision to maintain partial activity with zero remains to be paid for all protected sectors" such as culture, events or sport, said the Minister, citing a concern for "readability" after the decision in this meaning taken Tuesday for the hotel and catering industry.

Among these sectors, which have been hit hard by the economic crisis resulting from the health crisis, are tourism, air transport and catering.
