To celebrate the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the Mid-Autumn Festival of 2020, Hong Kong’s streets were lit up with lights and festooned, and there was a joyous atmosphere everywhere.
The five-star red flag and the regional flag of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region fluttered in various districts. On the waterfront of Victoria Harbour, many landmark buildings lit up large-scale slogans for the National Day celebration.
The Island Pacific Hotel, Sino Plaza, City Garden Hotel, Lee Tung Street in Causeway Bay and Royal Pacific Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui have hung up National Day banners.
