According to the website of the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, at 0-24 o'clock on September 29, there were 8 newly imported confirmed cases in Guangdong Province, and 3 cases were reported in Guangzhou, from Nepal, Argentina and Ethiopia; Zhanjiang reported 5 cases from the Philippines.
There were 13 newly imported cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad. Guangzhou reported 7 cases, 3 cases were from Bangladesh, 2 cases were from Indonesia, and the remaining 2 cases were from Nepal and Ethiopia; Shenzhen reported 1 case from the Philippines; Foshan reported 3 cases, respectively From Singapore, the Philippines and Indonesia; Zhanjiang reported 2 cases, from the Philippines.
All of the above were found at the port of entry or isolation point, and were quarantined for observation after entry.

As of 24:00 on September 29, a total of 1,827 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia have been reported in the province (431 imported cases).
