The epidemic situation is deteriorating in Paris, Lille and Lyon.

These cities, where the incidence rate continues to climb, could soon pass into the maximum alert zone.

Toulouse and Grenoble are also worrying the health authorities.

The latest figures do not bode well.

While the coronavirus epidemic continues to spread across the entire territory and Marseille has been placed in a maximum alert zone, other cities could soon suffer the same fate.

Paris, Lyon and Lille are in fact almost at the same level as the Phocaean city.

Coronavirus: follow the evolution of the situation Wednesday, September 30

Marseille is currently in the maximum alert zone, ie the first degree before the entry into force of the state of health emergency.

To be classified in this category, a territory must meet three conditions.

First of all, the incidence rate, ie the number of positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants, must be greater than 250. It is currently 252 in Paris.

Then, the incidence rate among those over 65 must be greater than 100. It is now 132 in the capital.

Finally, the third indicator, more than 30% of resuscitation beds must be occupied by Covid patients.

We are 32% in Paris.

Toulouse and Grenoble also worry the authorities

Paris should therefore switch from Thursday to the maximum alert zone.

In Lyon and Lille, it is more uncertain.

In the northern city, the incidence rate of the virus is 306 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and 159 among those over 65.

In Lyon, this incidence rate is 256 in the general population and 155 in those over 65.

But in these two cities, the occupancy rate of intensive care beds is below 30.
