Head to Pakistan, the land of the Pure where getting married is rarely a love affair.

Rishta Aunties are the matchmakers who help families find the best daughter-in-law or the best son-in-law, depending on their social background and caste. 

Publicity

These traditional matchmakers are increasingly disparaged and many women prefer online dating sites where they do not have to face the harsh judgment of these aunties who are far from always tender and benevolent.
