With five days before the international break, the phones are heating up between the national football federations.
Especially in Africa where we have not played for almost a year, the Covid-19 pandemic is forcing it.
Most of the teams have found a place of training - generally in Europe or the Maghreb - and one or more opponents for the period from 5 to 13 October.
But some are still in the process of finalizing their program: Madagascar should for example face the Luxembourg club Club Swift in Hesperange on October 9, then Ghana in Antalya on the 12th or 13th;
Niger tries to organize a tournament in Niamey with Chad and another selection;
South Africa is awaiting the green light from its government to play matches against Namibia (8) and Zambia (13);
the Comoros want to face a Tunisian club on October 8 ...
One thing is certain: time is running out.
Qualifying for the next Africa Cup of Nations is expected to resume in a month.
If all goes well…
