In the past few days, many children from Zhaojunyuan, Dingqi Kindergarten, Hohhot City, who had just started a small class, had spotted scabs on different parts of their bodies. They said they were stabbed by a kindergarten teacher with needles and other objects. The parents called the police.
On September 29, the Xincheng District Public Security Branch of the Hohhot Public Security Bureau announced that the three teachers of the kindergarten were criminally detained by the police on suspicion of abuse of their guardians and caretakers.
It is understood that after the incident, the People's Procuratorate of Xincheng District, Hohhot City contacted the public security organs and the Education Bureau on the same day, intervened in the investigation in advance, learned about the case for evidence collection in a timely manner, and put forward guidance on improving evidence.
At the same time, the People's Procuratorate of Xincheng District recommended that the competent education department strengthen the safety management of kindergartens, check whether there are such problems in other kindergartens within its jurisdiction, plug loopholes, and report the verification situation.
