The recent results of our clubs in the AFC Champions League revealed facts that shocked the sports street and sports officials, and shed light on our football situation, and confirmed the need to fully review our football system, our phantom professionalism, and the need to search for the reasons for this great failure in the level of Emirati football and the professional system.

The failure and early exit of all our clubs from the AFC Champions League is disappointing, and it will certainly reflect negatively on our national team, so those responsible for sports, football and the professional system in particular, as well as the sports media, must open the failure file in all its aspects, whether through the clubs. Or the councils, the Football Association, the Association of Professionals or the players, in order to put our hands on the causes of the disease, to put forward appropriate practical solutions for the progress and development of Emirati football, and to put our feet on the right path in implementing the true professionalism system, and moving towards achieving achievements in the world of football.

The meager results of our teams in light of imaginative professionalism and spending, and the exit of our teams from the tournament will have a negative impact on the march of the ball during the coming period, unless the causes that led to these unsatisfactory results are remedied, and the pursuit of a strong appearance during the next edition of the tournament.

Sports professionalism is one of the most discussed topics in the world of football, due to its role in developing the player's capabilities and gaining more football experiences, which help realize his country's dream of qualifying for major football events and winning regional and international competitions.

Professionalism is a profession codified by a contract between the club and the player, and therefore it is stipulated that there should not be other contracts between this player and any other party than the club he signed with, but unfortunately the reality says that professional players are not part-time, and they have contracts with government agencies, they work in the morning period and come To the club for training in the evening for two hours only, and they are exhausted from morning work, and this contradicts the essence of professionalism, so realistic solutions to this issue should be found.

The Spanish player Negredo's statement did not come out of the blue when he had previously said, “I was surprised by two players who work in the morning and play football at night.

At that time, I realized that they are not what they claim to be professionals. ”
