The “European Collectivity of Alsace” will be born on January 1, 2021. From that day, it will be possible to put the logo of this CEA on its license plate.
What will it look like?
Three proposals have emerged and the councils of Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin are offering a consultation.
It is possible to vote for your favorite logo between three proposals.
The first recalls the current Alsace brand emblem in the shape of a pretzel, with an A in a heart.
The second takes up the administrative flag with a reminder of the coat of arms.
The third refers to the “rot un wiss” flag (red and white), the traditional colors of several towns in the region.
The logo which will obtain the most votes will become the official marker of Alsatian license plates.

Voting begins this Wednesday, September 30, at this address, until November 1.
“At the end of this consultation, the marker who will have obtained the most votes will become the official marker of Alsatian license plates.
The results will be communicated in November, ”indicate the two departments in a press release.
