  The report stated that at 16:00 on September 27, a bus 921 drove west to east along Yuanda Road to the east of Changchun Bridge in Haidian District and knocked down a light pole on the side of the road. The vehicle was slightly damaged and no passengers were injured.

The driver Zhang Moucai (male, 39 years old, from this city) left the car and walked to the Changchun Bridge and jumped off.

After receiving the call from the masses, the police rushed to the scene and assisted emergency personnel in sending the person to the hospital for treatment. At about 22 o'clock that day, Zhang died after being rescued.

  After the police carried out a comprehensive on-site investigation, vehicle identification, surveillance video extraction, forensic examination, visits to passengers, colleagues and relatives, etc., it has been preliminarily found that at the time of the incident, the vehicle speed was 30 kilometers per hour, and the vehicle did not accelerate or turned sharply. .

After the incident, the driver Zhang opened the door and the passengers got off the car in an orderly manner. During the process, Zhang jumped off the bridge after leaving the car.

  After testing, Zhang did not involve drugs or alcohol, and the cause of death was consistent with traumatic hemorrhagic shock caused by high fall.

In addition, according to police investigations and reports from his relatives and colleagues in the motorcade, Zhang has simple social interactions, has no conflicts with others, and has no debt disputes.
