China News Service, Chengdu, September 29 (Shan Peng Anyuan) The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (hereinafter referred to as the Panda Base) on the 29th was particularly lively.

Outside the mother and child park of the Taiyang delivery room of the panda base, many "cat fans" holding their mobile phones anxiously wait, while the three newborn pandas "hot dry noodles", "bake cakes" and "chunsheng" are still rolling and playing coquettishly in the glass room .

At 9 o'clock in the morning, when the three breeders holding the "Big Three" in the sun delivery room walked into people's vision, the crowd cheered and exclaimed.

On the 29th, on the eve of the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, the Panda Base and the Executive Committee of the 31st Summer Universiade in Chengdu 2021 held an unveiling event for some of the new born giant panda cubs in Chengdu.

In order to highlight the sports elements of the Universiade, the stage is specially designed as a runway style.

On the stage, the "Big Three" appeared a bit "shy" for the first time.

A giant panda cub crawled out of the bamboo basket on the stage, and one put its head into the arms of the breeder for "comfort", and only one sat in the bamboo basket dumbly, naively.

According to reports, the "Big Three" in the Sun Delivery Room are the earliest three panda cubs born in the panda base this year.

Among them, the twin cubs "Regan Noodles" and "Baked Cakes" were born on March 17, and "Chunsheng" was born on March 21.

It is worth mentioning that to commemorate the fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the medical staff of the Sichuan-aid Hubei Medical Team named the twin cubs with the famous Wuhan snack "Regan Noodles" and the famous Chengdu snack "Dug Cake".

At 9:30 in the morning, in the moon delivery room of the panda base, 4 panda cubs "Run Yue", "Ai Jiu", "Hehua" and "Heye" appeared.

"Hehua" and "Heye" were successfully given birth by giant pandas on July 4. They are the first pair of giant panda cubs of dragon and phoenix at the panda base this year.

After taking the stage, the pair of cubs, who were less than 3 months old and weighed nearly 4 kilograms, lay lazily on the stage, making "Bang Bing" calls from time to time.

The slightly larger "Run Yue" and "Ai Jiu" are much more lively. They raised their heads to observe the people on the opposite side, and then played on their own. Sometimes they even touched the twin siblings with their paws and noses.

According to Wu Kongju, the senior animal husbandry pastor of the Animal Management Department of the Panda Base, these four panda cubs have their own characteristics: "Run Yue" has the yellowest coat color, "Ai Jiu" has the heaviest birth weight, and "Hehua" has the most "fried hair". "He Ye" has the most personality.

These 4 pups with distinctive characteristics collectively "debut in a group" in the outdoor activity field of the moon delivery room, bringing the atmosphere to another climax.

It is reported that in 2020, a total of 10 live giant panda cubs will be bred in the panda base, and they are all in good physical condition.
