Rooney Mara has given birth to her first child, whose father is none other than Joaquin Phoenix.
The information was unveiled by director Victor Kossakovsky, during the Zurich Film Festival during which was presented
Gunda
, a feature film for which the interpreter of the Joker is the executive producer.
As BuzzFeed relays, faced with journalists surprised by the absence of the Oscar-winning actor, the filmmaker replied: "He has just had a baby".

In addition, the director added that it was about a son and that the couple had given him a highly symbolic first name.
“A wonderful boy named River, that's why he (Joaquin Phoenix) can't promote right now,” Kossakovsky concluded.
River Phoenix died of an overdose in 1993 at the age of 23.
Joaquin Phoenix paid tribute to his late brother by receiving his Golden Globe for Best Actor this year, in his acceptance speech.
Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix have been dating since 2016.
