Renewal of imprisonment of the son of a famous Egyptian athlete in the "Vermont" case

The opposition judge in an Egyptian court renewed the imprisonment of Ahmed Helmy Tolan, son of the famous athlete Helmy Tolan, and the two brothers "Amr Hussein" and "Khaled Hussein" for a period of 15 days, pending investigations conducted by the Egyptian Public Prosecution in the case of gang rape inside the "Fairmont" Hotel in Cairo.

The Egyptian Public Prosecution revealed that it had received notification from Interpol that it had arrested and deported 3 accused persons in Lebanon, in the incident of assaulting a girl in the "Fairmont" Hotel in Cairo, in response to the procedures taken by the International Cooperation Office of the Public Prosecution to request their arrest in the Lebanese capital.

The Egyptian Interpol is pursuing the rest of the defendants who have escaped, headed by a divorced daughter of the Egyptian artist Noha al-Amrousi, the fugitive, after the investigation authorities have convicted him of involvement in the crime and his escape with others outside the country, before the girl who was raped submits an official report to the Public Prosecution, and the prosecution of “son "A famous businessman has probably fled to a European country.

Yesterday morning, an Interpol commission was able to return 3 defendants: Hilmi's son, Amr Hussein Mahmoud Ismail, and his brother Khaled, after they were arrested in Lebanon several days ago, and they were handed over to the Egyptian security services based on a decision issued by the Egyptian Attorney General to arrest them and bring them to appear for investigations. With them in the case of the assault on a girl inside the Fairmont Hotel.

On August 27, the Lebanese Ministry of the Interior announced the arrest of 3 fugitives in the "Vermont" case, based on a letter from the Interpol office in Egypt, which includes the names of seven Egyptian citizens, who are in Lebanon, accused of assaulting a girl during 2014 in one of Cairo hotels, a video of the incident was finally submitted to the Egyptian judiciary.

The Public Prosecution announced that it had taken measures to prosecute the fugitives, at the "Fairmont Hotel".
