On Monday, September 28, the Rossiya TV channel will start showing the serial detective film Spasskaya.

The director and scriptwriter of the project was Vladimir Shevelkov, the star of the films "Midshipmen, Go!"

and Hearts of Three, who previously worked on films such as Secrets of the Investigation and Opera: Chronicles of the Slaughter Division.

In the main role - Karina Andolenko ("Rowan Waltz", "The Yellow Eye of the Tiger").

Ilya Noskov, Roman Mayakin, Alika Smekhova, Larisa Udovichenko, Evgeny Sidikhin, Mikhail Zhigalov, Elena Zakharova and other actors also starred in the series.

The events of the series unfold around the young Sochi investigator Anna Spasskaya.

Despite her age, she is a great professional who will have to solve many complicated cases.

However, in parallel with solving professional problems, the heroine is forced to cope with personal problems, and often she has to make a difficult choice between her family and what she loves.

Heroes (especially heroines) of detective series always face a similar dilemma to one degree or another, but sometimes family affairs are only a background for the main action, and the investigators themselves are revealed mainly from the professional side.

The creators of Spasskaya took a different path and paid special attention to the elaboration of the characters' characters.

That is why heroes are far from perfect: they can succumb to emotions, lose sight of important things, and make mistakes.

Sometimes, however, their behavior is perplexing (for example, the main character openly presses on the suspect during interrogation, and then scolds a colleague for the same methods).

However, in general, this approach made it possible to create living and multifaceted characters, which are interesting to observe, including outside their professional activities.

“We (filmmakers in general. -

RT

) offend the viewer in this sense.

Why talk about some incomprehensible, single-celled, single-tasking people?

We must nevertheless dive deeper into a person and, probably, remember that we filmed a great Russian humanitarian film in this country.

And the free-plasticity is all abroad.

She, of course, is colorful, tasty ... but, I would say, cute, frivolous.

We have to get back on our way, "said Vladimir Shevelkov in an interview with RT.

He emphasized that the characters of "Spasskaya" from the characters of other similar series are distinguished by their personal life.

“Our heroes have personal lives.

Moreover, it takes up a lot of space, not even in their work, but in their head.

And this brings them closer to normal people.

These are not mad dogs running on the trail, but ordinary people, ”the director noted.

By the way, the authors of the series endowed not only the main characters with personal life, but also minor ones - for example, Spasskaya's sister and her grandmother performed by Larisa Udovichenko.

At the same time, the audience is not burdened with unnecessary details, but are shown exactly as much as is needed to understand the character.

Despite such attention to the personal component of the series, the main thing is the detective plot.

“Spasskaya” can be praised for its successful dynamics and the optimal balance of personal and professional, in which everything develops in parallel;

not interfering with each other, but, on the contrary, successfully complementing.

The detective stories themselves are not twisted as famously here as in the best blockbusters of the same genre, but the cases that Spasskaya is conducting are not the most straightforward, so the intrigue is preserved until the end of the investigation.

On the issue of shortcomings: viewers will certainly be suspicious of typical "blunders": makeup, with which the drowned woman looks too lively and photogenic;

instant "healing" of the torn knee of the main character.

However, there are few such moments in the series, and even those successfully smooth out the plot and a beautiful picture.

The city of Sochi, where the shooting took place, became a full-fledged hero of "Spasskaya".

The creators of the tape did not spare the screen time to demonstrate the beauty of the Black Sea coast and included in it a lot of sunny shots with lush, green panoramas of the city and cozy streets, one of their views evoking a summer mood.

A beautiful picture is complemented by successful locations - a veranda in a police building located right on the seashore, a passenger liner, a ski base and much more.

According to the director, the team constantly thought about what else to include in the shot in order to fully convey the atmosphere of the city.

“Basically, everything was filmed in Sochi.

But Sochi is not a very cinematic city, it is so, a little fragmented.

It is very difficult for him to find a "face".

It is stained.

Therefore, we fought for the sea, sun, palm trees, thuja, mountains.

We fought for all this every day, so that something like that would get into the frame, ”concluded Vladimir Shevelkov.
