Enjoy the atmosphere of the festival and show off the co-produced "Nebuta" Misawa Aomori September 28, 17:43

While one of Tohoku's representative summer festivals, the Aomori Nebuta Festival, was canceled due to the effects of the new corona virus, the Nebuta, which was co-produced by the three creators, was completed on the 28th in Misawa City, Aomori Prefecture. It was shown.

The Nebuta collaboration was realized by a hotel in Misawa City calling on the three Nebuta masters to enjoy the atmosphere of the festival as much as possible.

The completed Nebuta was named "Bishamonten," "Zhong Kui," and "Fudo Myoo," with the hope of overcoming the new coronavirus.

The Nebuta is 4.3 meters wide and 2 meters high, and was mounted on a dolly about 1 meter high, and it took about two months to complete.

On the 28th, at the hotel at the exhibition hall, Nebuta was shown along with the musical accompaniment while the guests were watching, creating the summer atmosphere of Aomori.

A man from Saitama Prefecture said, "I saw the real thing for the first time, but it was more powerful and surprising than I saw it on TV."

Of the three Nebuta masters who collaborated, Ryusei Uchiyama, who produced Bishamonten, said, "It was a wonderful work with each individuality.

I thought again that next year we could have a real Nebuta festival

.

" I was talking.

This Nebuta is on display at "Hoshino Resort Aomoriya" in Misawa City.
