[Explanation] On the morning of September 27th, at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport, the salutes responsible for the return of the seventh batch of the remains of the Chinese People's Volunteers in Korea have been lined up, and staff from the government and the army are also ready.

[Commentary] At 11:18 in the morning, the "Yun-20" special plane carrying the remains and remains of the seventh batch of 117 Chinese People's Volunteers in South Korea slowly landed in Shenyang under the escort of a special plane of the Air Force.

As a special plane, the Y-20 is the first mission to transport the remains of volunteer martyrs back to China. The number 01 on the fuselage reflects the supreme respect of the motherland to the martyrs.

[Explanation] After the special plane carrying the remains and relics of the martyrs landed in Shenyang, the airport greeted the special plane with the highest courtesy of "Watergate Li".

The audience bowed three times to the remains of the martyrs, and the salute fired 9 shots to pay tribute to the volunteers.

The audience paid attention to the coffins of the martyrs, and silently bid farewell to the heroes for their last journey.

[Explanation] 2020 is the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Volunteers’ going abroad to fight against the United States and aid Korea. In this war to defend the country, 197,685 outstanding sons and daughters of the Chinese nation died heroically and buried their bones.

Behind every life that died for the country, there is a story of bravery that should not be forgotten. 70 years ago, the Chinese People’s Volunteers crossed the Yalu River to defend their home and the country and resist aggression. Those young fighters shouldered national expectations and humanity. Justice, go to the battlefield!

Today, on the eve of the Martyrs Memorial Day, the motherland will welcome the heroes home with the highest etiquette. 117 volunteer martyrs who defended the dignity and safety of the motherland finally returned to their homeland.

[Explanation] Every time I think about the golden soup of the motherland, I remember the hero's iron armor.

From 2014 to 2019, a total of six batches of the remains of 599 Korean volunteer martyrs returned to the motherland. They were grandly buried in the Shenyang Anti-US Aid Korean Martyrs Cemetery. Today, 117 heroes have returned to the embrace of the motherland.

[Explanation] The seventh batch of the remains of the Chinese People's Volunteers in South Korea will be buried in the Shenyang Anti-US Aid Korea Martyrs Cemetery on September 28.

It is reported that the cemetery was built in 1951. There are 123 volunteer martyrs buried here, including super heroes Huang Jiguang, Yang Gensi, and first class heroes Qiu Shaoyun.

In the underground palace in the cemetery, the remains of the Chinese People's Volunteers who were welcomed back by South Korea are buried. After the renovation this year, the return of the martyrs will continue to be grandly welcomed.

[Explanation] The remains of the martyrs and related relics handed over this time were excavated by the South Korean army in the demilitarized zone from March to November 2019.

This is the first time that South Korea transferred the remains of more than 400 volunteers to China in 2014, and the largest number of remains was transferred to China in recent years.

[Explanation] Due to the long and tragic war, most of the remains were damaged to a large extent and there was no identity information.

Last year, China used DNA technology for the first time to determine the identity of six unnamed volunteer martyrs.

This year, my country will continue to conduct DNA testing on the remains of martyrs, and establish a DNA database for the remains of the volunteers moved back to Korea to facilitate comparison and confirmation by the relatives of martyrs in the future.
