The Jiangkou Shenyin Museum is located at the confluence delta of Minjiang River and Fuhe River beside the original site of Jiangkou Shenyin Museum. The construction scale is about 54,000 square meters, 32,500 square meters above ground and 21,400 square meters underground.

Tong Yangwen said that another major feature of Jiangkou Shenyin Museum is that it is not an isolated museum.

The reporter learned that Pengshan District, Meishan City, has started construction of the Jianzishan Hydropower Station located in the lower reaches of the Jiangkou in 2019, and is expected to be completed and put into use in 2022.
The water area of the Pengshan section of the Minjiang River will be raised by 11 meters as a whole, and the width of the lake will reach 960 meters, forming the largest lake within the three-winding area of Chengdu: 8 square kilometers, the size of nearly two West Lakes.
According to the relevant person in charge of the construction headquarters of the Jianzishan Navigation and Hydropower Junction Project in Pengshan, Minjiang, in the future, tourists from Chengdu can depart from Jiuyan Bridge by boat and reach the mouth of the Pengshan River after passing Huanglongxi.
