Academics must be evaluated by academicians

I think, 40 years after the establishment of the state, it is no longer acceptable to seek the help of foreign consulting companies to evaluate a work, or employees in a government agency or educational institution, because previous experiences, which are very many, have proven that the people of Makkah know its people, as well as the people of The Emirates, and in every institution there are national and resident expertise and competencies that obviate the need for resorting to foreign companies on which money is spent, and their results are often inaccurate, or rather, useless!

There is no objection to evaluating employees, and there is no objection to restructuring, as general principles for the development of work, but when we talk about a pioneering educational institution such as the United Arab Emirates University, which has graduated most of the leaders and officials of the state now, the situation is somewhat different, so academics, and university professors, especially those who have experience They are more than 10 and 20 years old, they should not be evaluated by a consulting company, whose employees do not hold higher degrees, and although this act is surprising at this time, the institution that cannot evaluate its employees after 10 years, there is no doubt that it suffers from a defect, except that, even if there is The evaluation must be done, let the university administration do it with the major world famous universities, and not by a consulting company that does not have the slightest experience in evaluating universities!

It is not a fraud for that company, but whoever looks at the questionnaire that was distributed to evaluate personalities who occupy leadership positions and seasoned academics, really feels shy, and a desire to laugh, as the questions are never in harmony with the nature and culture of society in the first place, so how are they addressed to university professors and leaders in it, Is it possible that the evaluation questions in the questionnaire were of the type: "Are you ready to go to a party every night?" Or "Do you enjoy throwing parties?"

Or "When I was young, were there times when I wanted to leave the house?"

We do not know where the link between such questions and others is in the evaluation of university professors who have spent long years on a difficult task, which is teaching and teaching our children to higher education students, or in managing a monument of the university, and the big problem is that based on the answers to such questions, the survival of The professor, doctor or employee is in office or not, regardless of his position, date and location!

There is a general feeling among all citizens at the university, with their different levels and positions, whether they are academics or administrators, that what happens with the arrival of this company is only a way to get rid of them and remove them from their jobs, legally, as the recruitment of foreigners to work on contracts has already begun. In middle and lower positions (supervisory and administrative) at the university, which confirms that the university administration seeks to replace citizens with foreigners, and not the other way around!
