The whole workshop only has the sound of "swiping" needles and pulling threads. These women who like "Zhang's parents and Li's short" have no one to chat, laugh or chat.
"Every time a football is sewed, you can earn 12 yuan. There is no time to chat." Xia Guangfei, an accountant in Wangma Village, told reporters that after the factory was built, the villagers had something to do, and there were fewer conflicts in the village.

"Don't underestimate this football sewing workshop. All the footballs produced here are shipped to Japan's Moteng Company, and then sold to all over the world. Various world competitions and even the five major leagues will use our sewing footballs." Wangma Village, Zhuangwei Township, Siyang County, Suqian City is located at the southernmost tip of the county, at the junction of Shuyang, Siyang, and Huaiyin District in Huai'an City.
In 2015, this village with 724 households, 3120 people, and 4,012 mu of land, ranked low in Jiangsu due to its collective income of only 27,600 yuan, and was given the title of provincially designated economically weak village.

How to become an economically strong village?

After the football factory was established, the village set a rule to give priority to the absorption of labor from low-income families in the village.
In the past few years, members of 23 low-income households in the village have gotten out of poverty by working in the company.
"I came to work at the factory at the end of last year. I am responsible for putting up football and earning more than 4,000 yuan a month." Wang Xuebing from the second group of Wangma Village said that because his wife is mentally ill, he needs to take care of him at home and cannot go out to work. Cause the family to fall into poverty.
"The village learned about my family's situation and mobilized me to work in the football factory. After taking care of her, my wife's illness improved and now she also works in the factory."
Wang Xuebing said that in addition, his eldest daughter has graduated from university and has taken up a teaching post, and the family's situation has gradually improved.
"Last year, we achieved alleviation of poverty. This year, we must be confident and be well-off."
Seeing the benefits of "industrial revitalization", Wangma Village built two more standardized workshops in 2017 and 2019.
Wang Weidong, a villager in this village, founded a textile enterprise, and Zhang Wenlian, a villager in Shuizhuang Village, founded Zhonghui Foods Enterprise, employing 17 villagers and a salary of about 2500 yuan.
At the same time, 4012 acres of land in Wangma Village, Zhuangxu Township, Siyang County, Suqian City transferred over 3,000 acres, collected land transfer management fees of 20,000 yuan, and collected land rent for public space governance, and the village increased its income by 207,900 yuan.
"Last year, the village collective income reached 757,900 yuan, and it is expected to exceed one million in 2020." Xia Guangfei said that the village collective has money to do things well. With the support of the township party committee and government, the village invested 484,400 yuan to harden 1,747 meters of roads. One million yuan to build a standardized factory building with an area of more than 1,000 square meters, an investment of 92,000 yuan to install 400 street lights, and an investment of 800,000 yuan to build a party-mass service center covering an area of 766 square meters, a farmhouse bookstore, an e-commerce service center, a convenience service center, Elderly activity centers have also been built and put into use.
