(Fighting against New Coronary Pneumonia) Fire Eye Laboratory completes its mission and withdraws from Hong Kong Zhongshan Memorial Park Gymnasium

China News Service, Hong Kong, September 26. On the 26th, Huasheng Diagnostic Center, a joint venture company of BGI Gene in Hong Kong, withdrew all facilities from the Hong Kong Zhongshan Memorial Park Gymnasium. Previously, they were responsible for supporting the operation of the Fire Eye Laboratory in the Hong Kong Universal Community Testing Program.

Hu Dingxu, chairman of Huasheng Diagnostic Center and a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, described this as "fulfilling a historical mission."

Following the successful completion of Hong Kong's universal community testing program, 16 temporary air film fire eye laboratories set up in the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park Gymnasium were removed on the 26th.

The reopening time of the stadium will be determined by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.

On the same day, Hu Dingxu told the media that the staff had deflated the air film in the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park Gymnasium, and all the facilities of the Huasheng Diagnostic Center, including the air film, would be moved to the warehouse.

He described that the withdrawal of the facilities is to complete the historical mission, and he hopes that the relevant facilities "do not need to be taken out again."

However, he pointed out that if the fourth wave of new crown pneumonia occurs in Hong Kong, or large-scale virus testing is needed, relevant facilities can be quickly "taken out" for use.

According to experience, the temporary air film fire eye laboratory can be re-established in about a week.

Hu Dingxu revealed that Huasheng Diagnostic Center can now test about 90,000 samples per day.

If Hong Kong clears customs with the Mainland and establishes a "tourism bubble" with other countries or regions, it can also provide Hong Kong citizens with sufficient testing volume.
