A survey published yesterday stated that former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle are the two most admired people in the world.
The YouGov Foundation indicated that this is the first time that the former US president has reached the highest rating since the launch of the "Most Admired in the World in 2014" poll.
And billionaire Bill Gates ranked second among the most admired people, having finished first last year.
Chinese President Xi Jinping came in third.
And Michelle Obama remains the most admired woman in the world, actress Angelina Jolie takes second place, and British Queen Elizabeth II takes third.
The study, which included a survey of 45,000 people in 42 countries, was conducted in two stages. The first included asking a question publicly to the respondents about who are the most admired men and women in the world.
The second phase of the study included preparing two lists of the most 20 men and women whose names were mentioned, while the lists of individual countries were supplemented by regionally famous personalities.
Jürgen Klopp, coach of Liverpool FC, was ranked second among the most admired men among the Germans, while the Dalai Lama came in third.
