During the night from Saturday to Sunday, the victim died on the platforms of the Stade de Gerland metro station, in the 7th arrondissement, after receiving stab wounds in the thorax.

Two suspects were arrested shortly after the facts, thanks to reports given to the police by witnesses of the scene.

Aged in their thirties and 20 years, the two men, of foreign nationalities and in a state of intoxication at the time of the facts, according to the prosecution, were remanded in custody at the end of their removal at the beginning. week.

The suspects affirmed during their hearings "not to know the victim and explained their passage to the act as following an altercation which would have started in the subway train and which would have degenerated on the platform", had indicated the public prosecutor's office of Lyon Tuesday.
