"A gift" for the fans

"This week, it was the new single, then the documentary. In reality, we are mainly waiting for the next album", he confides.

"I try to heal myself. I limit my efforts to curiosity. I saw him several times in concert, I bought all of his records."

Jean-Jacques Urvoas, however, does not yield to all temptations and refuses to acquire the luxurious reissues of old opuses.

"Discovery and practice do not bring absolute intensity."

The former Minister of Justice is impatiently awaiting this new documentary.

"We will see in the documentary if it manages this discretion or if it crosses a course," he hopes.

"Those who appreciate it will take it for what it is, which is to say a gift."

"It is obvious"

From the first songs, the first clips "where we had the impression of seeing Barry Lyndon", Jean-Jacques Urvoas is won over by the singer's universe.

"We cannot qualify a passion, it's obvious," he says.

Certain titles, more than others, have his preference, such as

The Soul-Stram-Gram

, his current ringtone.

"What I find quite fascinating about this artist is the contradiction between the obvious desire to control everything, the music to which she contributes, the choreography to which she is very attentive, and the image of the fragility of sadness that she spends her time to convey ", analyzes Jean-Jacques Urvoas.

"There is strength in the course she builds and the crumbly image she projects."
