　　A few days ago, 12 Hong Kong residents were arrested for illegally entering the waters under the jurisdiction of the mainland. The facts of the crime are solid and the applicable law is clear.

However, under the manipulation of members of the Hong Kong opposition Legislative Council, this incident was wildly distorted and hyped. All kinds of statements have turned black and white, confused right and wrong, and produced extremely bad social effects.

The real purpose of the opposition to consume these 12 illegal immigrants and their families is to incite Hong Kong society's dissatisfaction with the SAR government and hatred of the mainland.

　　Twelve Hong Kong residents were seized by the Guangdong Coast Guard in the waters under the jurisdiction of the Mainland. They were suspected of violating the crime of crossing the border in the Mainland. They should be governed and dealt with in accordance with the relevant laws of the Mainland.

These 12 people are currently under criminal detention in Shenzhen, and the procedures are in compliance with mainland laws and regulations.

As we all know, the legal systems of the Mainland and Hong Kong are different. Hong Kong currently does not have a legal mechanism for surrendering fugitive offenders to the Mainland. The Mainland has the right to detain, try and punish in accordance with its own regulations.

After the incident, the SAR government closely followed up and provided feasible assistance to these Hong Kong residents under the principle of respecting the local judicial system. What they did was reasonable and beyond criticism.

　　However, some Hong Kong opposition legislators regarded the matter as a good opportunity to stir up trouble.

Under their planning and agitation, the families of the arrested Hong Kong people first called a press conference to ask the mainland to transfer 12 people to Hong Kong, and then asked the SAR government to put pressure on the mainland police.

Even family members were "accompanied" by opposition members to report to the Hong Kong Police Headquarters, confusing their eyes and describing cases that should have been handled by the Mainland as being able to be registered in Hong Kong.

All kinds of actions are neither legal nor reasonable. They are purely arrogant and grossly intervening in the legitimate law enforcement and judicial procedures in the Mainland.

　　In the past few days, opposition politicians have asked the United States to "sue foreigners," claiming legal issues with clear facts as "human rights issues," with the intent to use international anti-China forces to pressure the SAR government and the mainland; they are also a habit of playing tricks. , Without any factual basis, slandered "the mainland maritime police entered Hong Kong waters to enforce the law" and spread rumors that "the Hong Kong police will sell 12 piglets."

The rogue tactics of inverting black and white and confusing right and wrong are exactly the same as their operations in the "Regulation Modification".

　　What is ridiculous is that the people who are desperately demanding "send to Hong Kong" are precisely the ones who shouted and killed the amendments to the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance and the Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Ordinance last year.

It is precisely because of their instigation and arbitrary obstruction that Hong Kong and the Mainland have so far failed to sign criminal judicial assistance arrangements and surrender agreements.

Today, these people, ignoring the unhealed tears of Hong Kong society, continue to eat "human blood buns" to confuse and deceive those who do not know the truth.

Knowing that some Hong Kong citizens do not know much about the judicial system in the Mainland, they fabricated the illusion that the police of the two places were colluding to persecute Hong Kong people, and they were alarmist and created social panic.

They conceal affair and logic, sell anxiety and fear, play the "tragic card" to intensify contradictions, and provoke Hong Kong people's resentment towards the SAR government and hatred towards the Mainland.

They don't really want to provide assistance at all, but out of political self-interest, naked consumption and use of these 12 Hong Kong people and their families.

　　The absurd logic and sinister intentions of the opposition have exposed their anxiety after the promulgation and implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law.

They are afraid of seeing Hong Kong society from chaos to governance, so they keep waiting for opportunities to make troubles, with the intention of setting off an anti-China chaos in Hong Kong again, so that Hong Kong will never have peace.

However, no matter how hard they perform, they will not be able to change the original face of the facts, let alone shake the firm determination of the 1.4 billion Chinese people, including Hong Kong compatriots, to safeguard national security.
