Professor of Public Health at the Miguel Hernández University of Alicante, Ildefonso Hernández has advised several autonomous governments, such as Asturias or the Valencian Community, in the management of the pandemic.

The former director general of Public Health (he was in office between 2008 and 2011) is one of the Spanish experts who have called through several letters in
