The Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced on the 23rd that it has confirmed that 59 new people are infected with the new coronavirus in Tokyo at the preliminary figures as of 3:00 pm.
The number of confirmed infections per day falls below 100 for the third consecutive day.
Also, it has been less than 60 people since June 30th.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Tokyo to 24,453.
