On September 22, the Ministry of Education held a press conference and issued the "Opinions on Accelerating the Reform and Development of Graduate Education in the New Era" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions").
At the meeting, Hong Dayong, director of the Department of Degree Management and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education, said that the construction of the tutor team is a basic project of graduate education.
The "Opinions" proposes to strengthen the post management of tutors, clarify the boundaries of responsibilities, and incorporate political performance, teacher ethics and style, academic level, guidance energy input, and education effectiveness into the tutor evaluation and assessment system.
The Ministry of Education will soon issue supporting documents to standardize the guidance behavior of mentors, and establish a responsibility identification and accountability mechanism for teacher ethics failures.
At the same time, strengthen the training of tutors and establish a three-level tutor training system with national model demonstrations, provincial key guarantees, and full coverage of training units.
