The famous French singer, born in 1927, died at the age of 93, her family told AFP. 

French song icon Juliette Gréco, also famous for her portrayal of Belphégor on television, died Wednesday at the age of 93, her family announced.

"Juliette Gréco passed away on Wednesday September 23, 2020 surrounded by her family in her beloved house in Ramatuelle. Her life was out of this world," said the family.

"She was still making French songs shine at 89," she added.
