China News Service, Nanning, September 23 (Reporter Jiang Xuelin) Lin Hongqian, a Taiwanese teacher at Guangxi Academy of Arts, opened his solo exhibition of "Art Travel: Acacia" at the Xiangsi Lake Art Museum on the 22nd. The exhibition lasts for 5 days.

  Lin Hongqian is currently the deputy director of the Basic Department of the Guangxi Academy of Arts Chinese Painting School/Lijiang School of Painting. He was born in Hsinchu, Taiwan. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Fine Arts from Taiwan Normal University. He has worked in related cultural and art institutions on both sides of the strait.

This exhibition is his first solo exhibition in Guangxi.

  This exhibition is a reflection of Lin Hongqian's 30-year creative process, examining the problems of his creation and performance in a "retrospective" way, and adjusting, strengthening and rethinking from it.

The works on display are divided into several stages, namely: high school, university, master's degree, doctoral degree, and works after teaching at Guangxi University of Arts.

He hopes to share his creative process with students.

A total of 130 large and small works are exhibited in this exhibition.

  Lin Hongqian said that Guangxi has many distinctive national cultures. He hopes to introduce Guangxi’s characteristic national culture and natural scenery to more Taiwanese through his own brushes, and to use his brushes to introduce the island of Taiwan and others. His hometown, Hsinchu, was introduced to the Guangxi compatriots.

  Lin Hongqian said that as a scholar, he hopes that Guangxi and Taiwan can communicate more and enhance the understanding between the two places.

  Lin Hongqian has been teaching in Nanning for three years and has gradually integrated into the local life.

He likes a light diet, and he can eat his favorite food at school.

He already likes Nanning, an open and tolerant city, and hopes that if he has fate, he can start a family and business there.
