It is a politically and humanly sensitive subject.

Two weeks after the Moria camp fire on the Greek island of Lesbos, the European Commission presented today (23 September 2020) its project for the reform of asylum in Europe.

Why ?

Because the old management system no longer works, explains the President of the European Commission bluntly.

Publicity

Since 2015, and the influx of refugees in Europe, this system has been shattered by the refusal of several host countries for refugees, the Dublin regulations and also the reception of NGO boats ensuring rescue in the Mediterranean.

Is there finally going to be a viable European solution for migration?

This is the question of the day

To talk about it
