A few years ago, Zhao Guizi, a villager in Datang Village, Haolin Township, Xihe County, ended his 20-year migrant work career. He devoted himself to operating pepper, rape, Chinese medicinal materials, etc. on his 8 acres of land. He also raised a few boxes of bees. .
Due to the accessibility of roads to the village and the gradual improvement of the surrounding e-commerce network platforms in the past two years, the "deep boudoir specialties" at the door of his house helped him get rid of poverty last year.
He told reporters that he would hide when he met strangers before, but now he would always go up and say hello to outsiders, because the living conditions here were very poor, there was no communication network, no way out of the village, and rarely communicate with outsiders. They are all at the door of the house. Not only does life improve, but the key is that agricultural products will be bought at the door, and no longer worry about sales. According to statistics, by the end of 2019, there were 48 poor villages in the county, with 13,000 people who had not escaped poverty.
In a recent interview with the media, Xihe County Party Committee Secretary Cao Yong said that in recent years, the county has found out the shortcomings of poor villages and poor households from village to village, completed dilapidated building renovation and full coverage of medical insurance, and formulated the “one household, one policy”. ".
In terms of industrial development, three leading industrial systems have been basically formed: "Chinese medicinal materials based on Pinellia, economic forest fruits and vegetables, and animal husbandry". This year, poor households have only one industry, and the per capita income is expected to increase by 1,300 yuan.
