The Covid-19 crisis has seriously affected nursing homes since the spring.

But this is not the only one with which the establishment "La Rossignole" of Onet-le-Château (Aveyron), in the suburbs of Rodez, is confronted.

Four employees were dismissed, accused of particularly degrading acts against residents of the Alzheimer's unit, as indicated by

Center Presse Aveyron

.

Photos and videos of these misdeeds had been shared for several months on a private Messenger group, accompanied by mocking and contemptuous comments.

A preliminary investigation was opened by the Aveyron prosecutor's office, according to the daily.

11 employees concerned

The management of the nursing home lodged a complaint on July 30, but the case was not revealed until the beginning of the week.

The facts concern 11 of the 55 employees of this structure of 84 residents.

Four of them were therefore dismissed, and around twenty people - as well as the director - resigned from this Ehpad opened in 2009 and undermined by governance concerns.
